Hubert (Bert) Dreyfus was Professor of Philosophy at UC Berkeley. I came across his work in 2006 when his lectures were recorded as podcasts for iTunesU and consumed each course with relish. The reading alone was exceptional but combined with Bret’s unique and deeply insightful interpretation opened my eyes to a new way of looking at such masterworks.
